Come suggerisce il titolo, circa 1 ora prima di pubblicare questo articolo, ho attivato il rilevatore di fumo (foto per i dettagli, non so se sarà d’aiuto o meno). Vivo in un dormitorio studentesco, un monolocale, motivo per cui la cucina è vicina al rilevatore di fumo. Stavo per friggere delle cipolle tagliate ma ho lasciato la piastra a una temperatura più alta per troppo tempo. Ha iniziato a fumare, quindi ho aperto immediatamente la porta e la finestra ma il rilevatore di fumo è scattato comunque. Ho premuto il pulsante di prova in circa 10 secondi che ha disattivato l’allarme. Oggi è un giorno festivo, quindi il direttore di casa non è di turno, quindi non sono riuscito a contattarlo perché usa un telefono di lavoro. È passata un’ora e non c’è stato alcun contatto da parte di nessuno, quindi presumo che nessuna delle autorità sia stata allertata per questo. Sarò comunque passibile di pagare per falsi allarmi o qualsiasi altra forma di reato?

As you can switch it off yourself, it very certainly not connected to a central control panel and has no uplink to anyone. So no alarm beside the smoke detector itself was triggered and nobody will show up.
The idea behind them is mostly that you wake up if there is smoke in your apartment before you suffocate due to it.
Most smoke detectors in private homes are not connected to any system. They are just to alert you with a loud noise. If they go off and nothing is wrong just press their button or give them a bop with a stick and they turn off again.
