Manifestazione per la campagna presidenziale di Mesud Pezeshkiyan a Tabriz. È la prima volta nella storia che un candidato presidenziale iraniano tiene discorsi in azero e curdo durante le sue manifestazioni. Le fonti dicono che è per metà azero e per metà curdo.

P.S: I am not 100 percent sure if Pezeshkiyan’s mother was Kurdish or not. It is very possible that he is fluent in Kurdish simply because he was born and raised in Mahabad which is city with a Kurdish majority.

Pezeshkiyan is a former minister and currently represents Tabriz in the Iranian parliament. He openly supported people’s uprising in 2022 after Mahsa Amini’s death.
