Though the laws do have its own up’s and down

    * The possibility to have the agency fee reflected in the monthly rent
    * Also, how is the tenant to know what is the capital amount invested, would have been better if the law stipulated that the amount needs to be mentioned on the contract for transparency.

`Penalties can be applied if the deadlines are not met.` How much and does this need to be part of the contract. Would say some of the areas are still grey.

Still good to see that actions are being taken to curb the mess on the housing front.

“It took a total of 22 expert and “additional” opinions and six rounds of amendments – including two at the request of the opposition LSAP party – but on Wednesday the Chambre des Députés finally passed the controversial rental bill first submitted by former housing minister Henri Kox on 31 July 2020.”

    Good lord.

And just before that, the ‘non-for-profit’ association of Benedictin Sisters increase their tenant’s rents by a smashing 45%. I guess God whispered them the Law was about to pass.

Well, does someone have a template for a rental contract since the verbal one I had planned is now not possible anymore?
