Living in Suurpelto myself, this unfortunately does not surprise me. Suurpelto has a big problem with vandalism and littering, the entire neighbourhood looks like a dump.

Because Espoo is full of junkies, alcoholics and problematic young people who think it’s ”funny” and ”cool”. Those three are the kinds of people that I pity and despise the most in Finland.

So true story when I was a kid these glass ones would be shattered in a certain neighborhood for a long time to the point where the bus company got the police involved and they caught the guys doing it apparently the contractors that were in charge of that neighborhood would break the glass at night and then get paid in the morning to come replace it 🤦
They just got a little too greedy and broke too many which caused the alarms to go off and now that neighborhood only has these weird metal panels instead of the glass 🤣

Some people have need to destroy something. Even people leading a country, may have sick need to destroy smt. Even whole countries. Look at one example, Ukraine. They may not care there if bus stops getting destroyed.
After couple of years, instead of posting destroyed bus stops, we in Finland may have pictures of destroyed hospitals and kindergartens

I was by the road walking not too far from that place yesterday when some foreign-country-originated gang in a white Volvo drove by twice calling me names and telling me to go away. Wouldn’t suprise me if they were the same fellas.
