    I am impartial to this.

However I can think of more reasons why not than why they should.

First of all, which diaspora communities?

Second, why should a citizen of another country decide what a citizen of Armenia does?

Who is going to choose reps from the diaspora? I for sure don’t want ARF running any elections, and they unfortunately have a huge grip on many diaspora communities.

Armenia isn’t some college project, where we come up with amateur hour ideas, it’s a real country with very real challenges. Diaspora should definitely be engaged with it, like Jews all over are with Israel. However not sure if being in the parliament is the same engagement we need from it.

When you say diaspora… who exactly? Because there are a lot of Diaspora organizations

Unless the diaspora organization is directly funded by Armenias government they should have no say whatsoever. Even then there should be requirements

In that way Armenians across the world can have means to contribute via govt interactions even if not directly
