Altrimenti farò le valigie e me ne andrò, i sogni svaniranno hahaha

    >How are international students surviving here in private universities after they spend the blocked account money?

    Rich parents, I suppose.

Student aid isn’t available for people who have not been residents for years. And there are no organisations that help people who are “broke” because they (sorry, but that is how it is) cannot *afford a luxury* when they could have gotten the same or better thing for free in a public university.

The reason they demand the blocked account in the first place is to have some proof that people will be able to care of their finances.

Personally, I think it’s an oversight that for the visa, they apparently don’t check whether people attend a private university. I think they should include the tuition money in the visa requirements – and they should make it *very* clear that you may be very lucky if you earn your full living costs for the following year by working, but that you definitely will not earn living costs and tuition.

I suppose you should talk to whichever offices there are at your university. Maybe they offer some kind of loan, or some kind of “study now, pay it off later” option like people have been posting about here. Expect the conditions and interest rate to be predatory, however. I remember we had someone who had an offer for such a “pay it off later” thing where the cost for a Bachelor degree came out to… what was it, I think it was 50,000 Euro or something.
