Ho appena scoperto che, a quanto pare, la differenza tra norvegese e svedese suona simile alla differenza tra inglese giamaicano e inglese britannico. Personalmente, lo trovo esilarante, cosa ne pensate?

Norwegian is so different in itself to be all of the above, no need to mix in swedish..

Hehe, yeah – something like that.

Norwegian being Jamaican English is also correct.

Not sure ab Sweden, but in Norway movies and tv almost always keep the original sound and slap subtitles on. Since the subs can’t cover all dialog, we are forced to pay attention to what is said and learn through repeated exposure.

I’ll gladly embrace the comment in the image.

Jamaican patois really has a joyous air about it.

In Sweden, people think Norwegians sounds happy all the time. There is even a joke where Swedes make a (usually poor) impression of a Norwegian saying ”I’m so depressed!” but sounds super happy. In comparison, Swedish sounds strict, formal, and serious. So kind of like the difference between British and Jamaican English.
