Nothing is stopping Putin from declaring victory and going home.

Everything is impossible until it isn’t. We’ve gone from three days to Kyiv to Ukraine holding Russian territory and striking deep within Russia itself. If Ukraine thinks full withdrawal of Russia is possible I say let them cook.

  3. In such a dynamic situation, one should not make such absolute statements and instead work intensively to ensure that the Ukrainians are so well equipped that hardly any more of them have to die, so that the Russians lose all hope of military progress.

We have the current situation because too many bureaucrats have made speculations instead of making the right decisions quickly from the start. The Russians were given far too many chances and far too much time to correct their mistakes and continue to wage war.

I think Czechs should know better that appeasement is not the best way to go. Czechoslovakia gave III Reich Sudetenland. And what then? Few months later Czechs lost their sovereignty with Czech lands becoming Hitler’s Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. And it didn’t stop there. Nazi plans were to wipe out Czech nation after winning the WW2. And it would happen if the Allies decided in winter of 44/45′: “you know let’s make peace with III Reich, and they can have Czechia”.

Maybe let’s ask how far from the official Ukrainian border, there should be a demilitarized zone on the Russian territory, controlled by the UN troops or something. Greetings from Poland, glory to Ukraine.

Imagine somebody steals your shit and the cops just tell you to get over it lol

  6. How can a ‘temporary occupation’ be an ‘outcome’? An outcome is something considered definitive by both parties, like Russia being kicked out for good, or Ukraine ceding its territories to Russia, but that won’t happen.

The outcome will be after the temporary occupation ends.

So Czech does like part of its territory, and later the entire country, being ‘temporarily occupied’ by Hitler.

What a POS. He’s old enough to remember his own country being “temporarily occupied” by the USSR (Russia) from 1968 to 1991.

Hell, his parents could have taken part in the Prague Spring.

The Czechs are just speaking from experience. They remember that time that the West handed over part of their country to appease an expansionist warlord and how it totally appeased him and there was no more war in Czechia ever again.

I see many experts in comments. Greetings from the Czech republic.
