And they say it’s the younger generations that are “entitled”…

Sorry but Ukraine needs that money more than you do
The richest generation doesn’t like being fucked over with their own mess. Tragic.
Willing to put the country billions in debt just so they can pocket £300 for the next few years.
Me me me generation. At it again.
Boomers can dish it out but they can’t even handle a little bit of it.
Broke the golden rule. Never mess with the pensioners.
If you’re sitting in a 350k house why the fuck are the government giving you money? You’re a benefit skank….and you lot are always the first to bang the drum about cutting benefits….well we’re cutting your benefits.
Given all this backlash I think it’s safe to say the triple lock is here to stay.
This explains why all the boomers are crying about labour on all the local Facebook community groups. Fuck ’em all. It brings me great satisfaction to see them whine and bitch and moan.
Benefits should be allocated solely on financial need. Not age.
State of the comments in here falling for the usual divide and rule blame other working class people shite.
£20k mortgages back in the day now living in 200k houses. Entitled asf. Most* of them spend it on gadgets anyway.
It is funny to see the same people who complain about the country being divided, complaining of Tories cutting the welfare net are absolutely falling over themselves in glee at the prospect of WFA cut.
What hypocrites they are.
It worth pointing out in a poll a majority did not support Labours action on WFA.
Just to remind you this sub thankfully doesn’t represent the British public or reality.
They seem entitled, students didn’t get consulted before the change to tuition fees, as an example.
> The case’s argument rests on the accusation both governments failed to adequately consult with those of pension age on the change

Maybe they should give up their take away coffees and avocado toast for the winter to see them through
If you have money for frivolous lawsuits that stand no chance of success, you clearly don’t need winter fuel payments.
Maybe they should sue themselves for not saving enough when they were younger or not having a private pension.
I bet they voted brexit too.
How much is the UK spending on non-citizens? Why can’t these entitled boomers realize that their tax dollars need to go to housing immigrants and not paying for their heating in the winter. Greedy people!
