I feel like I’m taking crazy pills because Fire & Rescue have said 60 metres and everyone is reporting it as 60 metres…. but that is quite clearly not 60 metres in the picture. There isn’t even a 30 metre clearance between the bridge and the river according to wiki, so less between the bridge and land.
A local paper said 30-40 feet when I initially read the story a few hours ago, which is what the image looks like. Is it an optical illusion? Am I just really thick? I know this is a pedantic tangent but it has me baffled.
