Their flat was so admired that it developed its own fan club – though unfortunately not the type of fans they expected…

Still, I wonder if they’ll get a cut of the profits?

    What sort?

Lavender oil? Essence of sandlewood and musk?

Please think of the poor dear being hurt by other people trying to make a living.

He’s only been a Soho landlord for 22 years, and has two flats in the building.

    And the rent’s only £950/week!

Honestly he’s cutting his own throat and can’t afford a coat of paint for the properties.

Jokes aside though, the fact that “apps” like Vrbo, AirBnb and the rest aren’t properly checking that people have the actual right to add apartments to the site (and taking months to do anything about it) is part of the problem we have with housing in this country.

If he wasn’t so bad at his job as a landlord maybe this wouldn’t be an issue. Way too many landlords with a set it and forget it mindset just hoping to generate passive income with zero effort.

A landlord? Cry me a river. Property as investment should be ilegal.

  8. “I now need to repaint the ceiling. There were men coming in and out.”

    And all over, apparently.

Property parasite shocked that ridiculous cost of his flats means his tenants have no choice but to opt for renting out their own bodies… and it’s not his fault for not checking on his business either.
