And to be fair, I have no idea who manages to get to 80 on a gravel road without wrecking their vehicle. We rarely went over 50 while on our visit. Too afraid that the gravel flying everywhere would scratch the rental. 😁

Here in the States we have gravel road signs as well. Look a little different but give forewarning of when it switches from tarmac to gravel. Well, you have one highway, #1, as far as i remember. Goes around the whole island, and is lifted a bit above the ground 🙂

Well we have the same speed for paved and gravel, because the paved roads are in such a terrible condition that it is way safer to go 80 on gravel.
