Meh most of them are poor quality the cheapest products, and are not the iconic products of our childhood..

accurate except doritos its an international brand from america

  3. Cheetos and Doritos don’t really fit in, but I’m guessing they are flavors exclusive to Turkey.

There are a few non-Turkish brands (Cheetos and Doritos), but I’d say it’s a great summary of what options are available for Turkey when it comes to snacks.

Most ppl don’t enjoy Turkish delights to begin with, so I’d suggest avoid supermarket brand ones . If you gotta try it, try Koska brand. Other than that it’s nice mix, there’s another wafers like the orange “çokonat” called Ülker çikolatalı gofret in red wrapping, thats also iconic. Not the best, but well known. Im 35 and it was a thing even when I was a kid.

It’s accurate but mostly low or mid-quality stuff.

This is the only true turkish snack. Everyone else is delusional.

Explanation; these are sunflower seeds. They have varieties such as completely white ones, these striped black&whites or completely black ones that paint your hands and lips. They are toasted with or without salt and then skilfully binge eaten. Once you master the technique of eating them you get a curse that prevents you from stopping so take only as much as you need, not the whole 10kg bag or whatever you have at home.
