It used to be called Against the Grain. They changed the name and stripped out all the interesting pints. But it’s still a grand spot for a quiet sip – even if it’s not the cheapest I amn’t having more than the one or two. Just waiting for the Palestinian protest to clear the road, while checking the negatives I just picked up. The hurling is on.

They had some good mix of craft and more “generic” beers. Suddenly they changed and sell
Usual Rockshore / Heineken crap for 8€ a pint. 🤷🏻♂️ nothing interesting there anymore, they become like any other pub selling the same pints.

Galway Bay messed up big time letting ATG slip. Overexpanded at expense of core pubs. Black Sheep still there I suppose.
