  1. So how exactly diplomatic return of Crimea will look like?

Especially considering native population there and steady Ukrainization of all of Ukraine.

ROFL. What a 4D chess move this is…

He literally says ‘we can’t beat you therefore we are willing to negotiate your surrender’.

I am anxiously awaiting the Russians putting down their weapons now. Is this satire or something?

It’s a shame that giving up any territory has to be considered, because it will make Russia stronger in next conflict that will inevitably happen, if Russia has reasons to treat this war as success.

Pretty clever play actually, specially given the Fox news audience.

“Ukraine is ready to pursue the return of Russian-annexed Crimea through diplomatic means rather than on the battlefield to avoid the loss of “dozens of thousands” was always the intent anyway, reminding the “muh diplomacy” people of it and then having russia come with some insane demands, would demonstrate once again that russia can’t be taken seriously as negotiating partner and requires some extra push.

the only way they would get crimea back would be a total defeat of russia.

If ukraine leaves this war losing just crimea, it is a win for them, and maybe putin can save face. So very reasonable.

So ofc putin wont accept it.

This is flipping the script on Russia’s disinfo accusations of Ukraine as a nation defending itself being a warmonger that too many brainlets buy into when rational arguments don’t cut it. You love to see it.

Didn’t Russia get ownership of Crimea a few years ago with some shady moves anyway?
