>She accepted there was no letter of dismissal or appeals process, but claimed the dismissal was fair. She denied that Ms Smyth losing her job led to her mortgage application being abandoned.
>After Ms Smyth asked for time off due to an emergency in March last year, Ms Wynne said she received advice from HR to do a work performance review.
>She said she was shocked at a strongly-worded response from Ms Smyth’s union, Siptu, and advised the union the administrative assistant’s employment was terminated.
Nasty fucking streak in Wynne it seems.
Anti vaxx, Bankrupts a housing charity (in addition to other accommodation fuckery, like complaining that her house wasn’t big enough after she chose to have her 6th child), unfairly dismissed her employee, now stiffing the same employee for their compensation (and will no doubt never pay it after failing to get re-elected).
What an absolute weapon…
She is one evil woman to be fair. Still don’t know how anybody could ever vote for her.
Wynne is such a fascinating example of being in the right place at the right time. She’s a general failure in life who happened to be a SF candidate who no one thought would get elected, but rode the SF wave to a Dáil seat.
You wouldn’t trust her with a burned match but through fluke and the party name, ended up as a TD.
Every time she’s in the news is always riveting in a pure train wreck way.
Fecking Prods are at it again.
On a TD’s salary, can’t/won’t pay for rent or staff wages… that’s a bit much
6 kids are expensive but you got to pay your bills, esp if you have a paying job
Genuinely impressive how nothing about her time as a TD has been not deeply negative for everyone involved
Wynne is and always has been a loon
She really hates paying for stuff/services she uses.
Part of the issue here is that you’ve people who have never employed anyone now managing two staff members.
I don’t think they get what’s involved in letting someone go in a legal manner.
Not sure how much help the oireachtas provides them.
This one is something else.
