You can fit the British army’s entire infantry and arty battalions in a very small stadium. The regular army is about 80k.
Britain can only field at best 2 fighting brigades. In Afghanistan we could only deploy 1 brigade and that was during the surge. The army was overstretch back then and every 18 months the guys were being deployed. I know guys who did 5 tours of Afghanistan.
