This is good news, because what a lot of people fail to understand is that although global power projection is nice to have, the reality of UK defence is that our front-line [is the Norwegian Sea](https://nitter.poast.org/pic/orig/media%2FGbssiOtbYAA4s1B.jpg) and without carriers it becomes dramatically more difficult for us to push Russia’s launch platforms away from the UK.
