    It is atrocious that the rowing club held up the retrieval of the body.

    Not just suicides, there have also been incidents where cars accidentally entered the water, a woman died a few years ago when she accidently reversed into the water as she was trying to pull out from the parking area. It’s surprising that they haven’t sorted it with bollards or something by now.

    They’ll find other ways. It’s always been suicide season at the cliffs of moher. It’s always been a suicide hot-spot. Also the quincentennial bridge that goes through NUIG. Students mainly.

    Wildly underreported, but if you’re nearby you’ll get an idea of the scale.

    Ireland is running a well greased suicide pipeline for young people.

    Keep your kids safe 🙏 try give them some hope for the future. There hasn’t been much since 2008
