    Man, we really do just need to ditch academies. An absolutely shameful attempt to privatise the education system through the backdoor and remove as much democratic accountability as possible.

    So many issues in Britain are just fundamentally due to a lack of funding. You need people to do jobs and you need money to pay their wages. Yet successive governments, including the current one, have at best had their fingers in their ears and at worst have intentionally underfunded any public service that doesn’t directly benefit them and their mates.
