    I don’t think this was in question. It’s just that Ukraine doesn’t have those systems.

    The US and western allies only have two main systems for that purpose now though.

    THADD, which has limited range, is only good to counter towards the end of the missiles terminal phase. It’s also very limited in number. The US only has I think 8 systems, and Ukraine would need 3 systems to properly cover everything, 2 could most of the high value targets.

    Aegis is the only mid phase system operational today capable of striking missiles 750 miles away and 600 miles in altitude. Romania and Poland have Aegis systems currently, Romania hit theirs early in 2016, Poland just got theirs this year.

    The expense, limited supply, and non exportable tech. It is highly unlikely Ukraine will be receiving either.
