I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again: the Russian military has zero leadership sense and zero co-ordination skills. This so-called “special military operation” was doomed from the start and everything points in that direction.

That’s what happens when you send heaps of untrained people to fight in a war that makes no sense. Like seriously, what’s the whole point of this invasion? I seriously struggle to understand the whole point of it.

So as far as I can tell, it’s a single tank out in the open, that fires about 9 times on Russian positions in the trees, firing both stationary and on the move.
I don’t know enough to be able to tell how good the hits were but what strikes me about the video is that the Ukrainian tank is completely exposed, seemingly taking its time to fire systematically in coordination with aerial recon. They must have very good situational awareness to be that confident.
And then they fire off some smoke defensively in order to screen the tank’s withdrawal.
Although a single-tank assault like this with no support seems fraught, it also seems to me that it was very well-executed and well-coordinated.
So is this an extreme risk that they took, and lucked out? Or is this a comparative demonstration of how sophisticated the Ukranian National Guard has become, and how relatively shattered Russian defensive capabilities are? The “new normal” that the Russian invasion forces can look forward to?
