This is common in Leeds. They don’t even hide it. The riders brag about it on social media from their hotel rooms.

Surely Uber Eats, Just Eat and Deliveroo can see that some accounts are active 24 hours a day (two people sharing for 12 hours or 3 for 8). How are they not flagged?

This really explains why I have been getting a lot of foreign dudes with suspiciously feminine english names.

Why is it worded like that? It’s not just women renting out their accounts. We can’t pretend men renting out accounts, or genders matching is okay.

    >MailOnline found one seller offering their account for £110 per month – or £5,720 per year.

MailOnline failed their maths GCSE, it seems

I’ve been getting this with ubereats deliveries even in Llandudno

While this is undoubtedly a problem, the article overlooks rather glaringly that if these people were offered a way to have leave to remain and right to work, this wouldn’t be such an issue as they wouldn’t have to resort this.

But the Daily Fail were never to going pass up the opportunity to demonise immigrants.

I knew there was something suspicious when my uber eats driver would have a woman as their profile picture but would often end up being a completely different person.

So it’s not legally a crime to do that if you’re a woman with the right to work in the UK?

Impersonating others? Sounds like something very illegal 🤔

I wonder how many people who complain about illegal immigration are ordering from Uber Eats, Just Eat and Deliveroo on a regular basis?

If you were here as an asylum seeker waiting to see if you have the right to remain, how likely is it that you’d have a licence and insurance?

Women and immigrants in the same story? How very Daily Mail.

Yeah I was interested to meet Fatima on her bike the other day, was a bit disappointed when some bloke drove up.

I don’t understand how the govt is letting the gig economy companies get away with this. I don’t care if the drivers are self employed so can sublet their accounts. It’s unsafe and a vehicle for modern slavery.

Food delivery apps the free tickets for the illegals. I would bet >80% of them are illegals or visa fraudsters.

So common in London. Need to be deported. Every single person illegally working is potentially taking demand and jobs away from companies and employees that pay tax.

Ludicrously out of hand, and continues to affect GDP per capita, and allows more and more economic migrants illegally flocking to the U.K. because they know it’s possible.

    >But some successful applicants go on to charge large amounts of money for access to their accounts for total strangers – who may have a criminal record or **be unable to work illegally in the UK** – raking in as much as £5,720 per year.

    Not with that attitude!

    Such a shit rag.

I’ve never noticed however sometimes I have riders marked down as being on a bike but turn up in a car.
