      I mean, that is an average, so your average german includes a whole range of jobs from low to high paying, while people who come here for work from the nordics/india usually are highly specialised and highly paid.

      That is not what that graph says. It says that they have the highest *average* wage in germany. Of course foreigners that need a visa will be higher than germans

      Not that surprising.

      Germans include all – from executives to entry level jobs.

      Indians immigrate to Germany only to well paid jobs – otherwise they don’t get the visa.
      Scandinavians would emigrate from the Nordics for very good jobs as well only.

      People don’t come unemployed to Germany. People don’t come to Germany for low-qualified jobs, because Germany doesn’t give visa for those. Germans can afford to be unemployed and don’t need visas.

      Is this a surprise? Most of the Indians in Germany are highly qualified (masters degree) and often working in technology companies so of course they will rate higher. Same for China and Brazil. You won’t be accepted as a foreigner from these countries so easily by having jobs that don’t require high qualifications.

      Isn’t it obvious? Third country nationals only get visa if they are highly qualified.

      You can probably do this for most countries.

      I guess that Germans working in India also earn way more on average that an average Indian.
