I am German living in Germany and my favorite trips are trips to abandoned Industrial sites. Wallonia is just the place to fo for that. I stopped counting how many times I have been to Seraing after 15.
9 years ago, I have formed friendships by
visiting Hasard Cheratte and the Preventorium of Dolhain.
In 2017 when I was unemployed living in
Aachen, I visited Haut Fourneau B and it helped to deal with my depression.
Just two weeks ago, I had an afternoon birthday trip to the HF6 power plant and
bought Italian pastries in Ougree, next to an abandoned warehouse and in
between HF B and Cokerie Ougree.
Furthermore, Quick’s Burgers with proper fries
as first meal of the day and Belgian beers are irresistible.
Last but not least a picture of the Liège
skyline which has Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Art Deco practically doesn’t exist
in my country.
All of the pictures except the Liège skyline have been taken by me.

I like to visit and find something interesting.
Furthermore I spent hundreds of Euros in support of the Belgian economy.
Why are you downvoting?

I kind of like Wallonia. Flanders is a little bit up its own ass these days because it’s so wealthy, even though it’s still drab and dreary. Wallonia at least has its nature and the people are more convivial
