He goes with the classic “I want to apologise for any offence caused” non-apology, and then spouts a series of excuses for what he said.

Greg just give the women a slap on the behind that’ll fix it

“I’m sorry if you were offended” = “you’re oversensitive and I’m sorry to hear that about you”.
But…and I don’t know the facts so this is pub bollocks…I can see how workplace banter can turn into something “sexually suggestive” which a woman may think about later and gets creeped out by it.
W: “Are those skinny chinos? They’re skin tight haha”
M: “I’m regretting getting them, it’s a bit cramped down there haha”
W: “lol”
W on drive home later: “Did he just comment about his dick to me? Is that what he meant? Was he suggesting something? He was definitely trying it. Urgh so gross…”
etc.

Man. How did they let him get away with it for so long. I sware you need to be on some sex offenders list before the BBC will think of hiring you. Please don’t tell me Connie huq and Charlie Brooker have a slave put somewhere

All the guy had to say was “I made a few ill judged comments that I considered friendly banter. I’m sorry for any offence caused and I’ll work on myself in the future.”
But no. He decided to make a brand new stupid comment in his bad apology for his original stupid comments.
What a fucking moron Greg Wallace is.

Hopefully after this situation and hearing about how this stuff has affected women men start to call out there friends and strangers when they do similar to Gregg. He thought everything he did was ok. Calling out your mates may be awkward but it does change things

I can’t wait for the next video “sorry girls, I forgot your probably going through the change so I should’ve been nicer about it”

He has done himself absolutely no good with this comment and made the situation worse for himself.

How many British TV presenters could we all point to right now who act like Greg Wallace?
I’ve been following him for a long time through MasterChef, his weird ‘hobby’ shows and ‘how it’s made’. He’s always been incredibly weird. This is so unsurprising.

lets be honest, women of a certain age are always offended by ‘jokes’

How long before he’s cooking with bacon sarnies for Farage on GB News.

I like how this passes for ‘BREAKING NEWS’, and not all of the mass sightings of UAPs / ‘drones’ above US air bases in the UK that have been happening in recent days…

I hate when ppl say they’re sorry if they caused offence. It’s like ‘oh I didn’t say anything wrong but lol soz if u feel bad I guess’

Apparently the ones complaining about the video were “daft bints from the home counties”

So far, it isn’t clear what Gregg has said could just be some crude innuendo. I do feel like old school cockney humour isn’t allowed with the middle types on the BBC.

He’s a week from claiming a woke mob got him cancelled, and 3 months from getting religion.

I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Innocent until proven guilty etc. But his contempt for the women who complained about him has shifted the scales in their favour. Insulting people who accuse him of inappropriate comments suggests there is something in their complaints.
