He’s nearly 18. Going inside for 30 years – he’s never going to be having a job or be any kind of productive member of society after this, who hires a person in their late 40s with a conviction for murder and no work experience- so he’s going to be back to a life of crime after spending 30 years around criminals.

One family destroyed through no fault of their own. One kid threw his life away. And I’d guess as a country we do nothing about it.
