I’d die of embarrassment too if I was outed as a Chester fan

Before anyone gets too excited at the headline:

      > There were “no suspicious circumstances” behind the death, police said, adding that the matter has been “referred to the IOPC in line with standard procedure”.

The headline could also be “100 People Die After Man Makes Racist Gesture!”, since presumably 100 very old or sick people have also died since the incident occurred.

The wild rush to publicly shame people will always nab a few casualties here and there.

It’s like “man dies the day after mowing lawn” What’s the connection?

Proabably thought his life was over after that video went viral.

Maybe he knew he had an imminently fatal illness and wanted to make sure he left a legacy for his family.

If you behave like that you do deserve to get shamed for it. Whether that should extend to millions of people on social media I’m not sure, but that’s the world we live in. It’s sad if he took his own life because of it.

This whole “racism” thing is absurd. In this instance the footballer has a better life than the “racist”, laugh it off. He knows he’s the better man. They threw bananas at John Barnes. He ate them.

But because of this ridiculous pile on for what is no more than name calling a family has lost their husband and father.

    10. Imagine living your last hours on Earth being so hate filled and content with your bigotry, what a horrible way to go out.

I hope his family is okay.
