      Slovaks know that most Romanians are not Gypsies. The guy said it to insult Romanians.

      I wouldn’t say so. This is really inappropriate talking which is half joking half serious.. imho these guy are using up their chance with all the equipment to make a stupid video for their friends WhatsApp group filled with offensive jokes….at least i really hope that’s the case

      I thought so too, but acutally funny mentioning because lately I encountered two or three people who genuinely thought Gypsies are Romanians and I had to argue that gypsies are not from Romania but from India.

      I think there is a stigma in Slovakia where people think that Romanians the white ones are maybe mixed alot with gypsies. Nevertheless its also true that they also make fun of Romanians and call them gypsies even though they know they arent gypsies.

      For example the reported just called them like that for fun, based on context.

      This country is racist af and there definitely is notion r=g in plenty of ppl
