>According to the same sources, “All member countries of the Union are now ready to give the green light, and it is expected that the project will first be approved on July 17 by the ambassadors of the member countries, and then on July 22 at the meeting of foreign ministers.”

>Earlier, in April, Hungary had vetoed the project, demanding that Azerbaijan also receive assistance from the EU Peace Fund. According to “Azatutyun” sources, Budapest’s proposal was not accepted, but a compromise was chosen to break the deadlock: Baku will receive funds not from this fund, but separately for demining activities.
