Such a great discussion. I know Hacopian gets a lot of heat recently for his political commentaries recently but I just can not *not* respect a Diasporan deciding to live and contribute in Armenia, especially coming from a much wealthier and secure country. That goes for both him and Elliott. Warms my heart every time I see such an example.
Btw, Hacopian said a very important thing as a matter of fact which can be easily missed: the lack of good Middle management in Armenia. Look at any enterprise in Armenia and 9 times out of 10 I can guarantee that bad (or non-existant) mddle management is to blame for the failures. And it’s those niches which the Diapsorans can fill in to the benefit of all (the other being for example project management).
Edit: also good comments from Hacopian on the media landscape and good on him for calling out the trash Diasporan Armenian news orgs.
