  1. Doesn’t that spelling mistake, their awful off-centre location of the bottom text and the weird fading top right tell you everything you need to know?

  2. Oh boy, that‘s a nice one. Made with MS Paint.

No, this isn‘t a legit university.

Idk. But that logo locks so fake. It’s not even centered, Not even the text is aligned with the circle

  4. The main question should be: why is one corner of the crown faded and not the other one??

    No not legit.

  5. Thats not a real university, more like some kind of scam. The adress of the university doesn’t exist and the phone numbers, are prepaid mobile numbers.

Good thing these people don’t teach graphic design 😀

No german organisation would say “Kassel, Hessen, Germany”. This is totally made up by US-Americans, its not a German way to describe a place (you would just say “Kassel” as there is only one Kassel, opposed to, for example Frankfurt/Main and Frankfurt/Oder, which are distinguished by the rivers floating through them and not the states they are in. Mainly becauses there was a need to differentiate long before the federal states existed)

  8. Nope, our Universities don’t have typos in their Logos.

fyi. those scams usually use bad design and typos on purpose because people who see it won’t fall for a scam while people who don’t see it are either dumb or desperate enough to fall for a scam.

  9. 1. The spelling mistake.
    2. The unreadable font.
    3. The really bad placement of the text.
    4. The emblem is just the coat of arms of the state of Hesse.
    5. The off-centre placement of the coat of arms.
    6. A Google search returns only an account on X (i.e. Twitter).
    7. Said X account was created about 13 months ago, has 5 posts in total, the last of which was posted almost exactly one year ago.
    8. It also has two followers, and follows one other account.
    9. The website address given doesn’t exist (or no longer exists).
    10. The phone numbers given are mobile numbers.
    11. The postal address is incomplete and doesn’t follow the format of German postal addresses.
    12. There are two short promo videos very obviously created with stock footage and AI voices, that tell you literally nothing.

Honestly, even I could make a more convincing logo. If this *isn’t* a scam, I highly recommend you do not study there.

No legit university in Germany will offer hc only
    programs

    Why?

Because you can’t even use Dr. hc as a personal title in Germany (as hc does not qualify for usage as a title) you can refer to yourself as Name (Dr. hc
of Blabla, University of blaba) but not as Dr. hc name

    >And are they also affiliated to Maryland State University, USA cause I saw their logo in one of their convocation program’s banner.

If you are not sure if this is a scam then you’re exactly their target group.
