Grazie in anticipo.

> As far as I understood my actual salary was 2509,92€ and after deductions it is 1.676,19€
No. 1.676,19 € is the netto for august. The brutto is 1.970,53 €. 2.509,92 € is the running total brutto for 2024. For some reason it says “Berechnung für laufenden Monat” even though theres nothing about september there. Super confusing
> Since I’m a part time employee I don’t want to pay pension fees
Well you have to; also not a fee. Its an insurance
> and I also think they’ve put me in a higher tax class
No they didnt.
>I don’t want to pay pension fees
I don’t think you have a choice there…
>and I also think they’ve put me in a higher tax class
Which class are you in and which class do you think you should be? That will only determine the tax deductions on your payslip and not the final ones during the year, as long as you do your tax declaration. Your tax class is something you have to settle with your tax office.
The deductions, for a single person making this much during the year, do make sense.
It is not optional to pay or not to pay. If you leave Germany within 5 years, you can request it from state. You seem to be in Tax Class I, which is normal for you. Your gross salary is 1937,39, and you got some extras, total of 33,14.
As far as i understand this is a payslip for two months (August and September?). It also looks like a Werkstudent contract because no contributions to health insurance or unemployment insurance.
In August you earned 1970€ before deductions and 1676€ after deductions.
For September (its a bit confusing as it says “laufender Monat”) they projected 2509€ before deductions. (EDIT: 2509€ could also be the total of the complete year until now like the other comment stated)
> Since I’m a part time employee I don’t want to pay pension fees
Sorry, with that salary there is no way around it. Exemption from pension contributions is only possible up to 538€/month (minijob). Doesn’t matter if it is part time or not.
> Also think they’ve put me in a higher tax class
I think you cut off the part with the tax class on top of the page but 111€ in taxes for this salary looks like tax class 1 (no children, not married) what is what most students are. Do you have children or are you married?
Hi are you studying master? this salary for a working student is a bit high, I got offered 1300 and feeled a bit scammed now.
