Buy a small heater for the room you most use. Layer up and drink hot drinks. Also an electric blanket does wonders.

I switched to Octopus Energy and went on their tracker tariff and my bills almost halved. Annoyingly though, a majority of my bill at this point is just standing charges, which are absurdly expensive.
Energy companies are taking the piss out of us all.

Worth pointing out, you don’t need to submit a read if you have a working smart meter. Save yourself some time by not being stuck waiting in a call queue.
