    I make little over 100k which according to the govt data, puts me around the top 3% earners in the country. I wouldn’t pay 50-60k for an electric. How could they possibly introduce such expensive cars to the average person making 1k a month?

  3. I suspect we’re going to reach a tipping point soon where the primary consideration when buying a new car will be “well shit, if I buy a petrol now there’s no way I can get rid of it at a reasonable price in 10 years time”.

    Other than that I’d really love to see the government start to consider using plugged in cars for grid stabilization with smart chargers, you know, rather than all of Fredericia shutting down on new years eve because everybody was turning on the ovens and charging their cars at the same time…

    Imagine a whole neighborhood just being able to keep the lights on even though there is a power failure somewhere upstream. Wind energy being sent to car battery buffers instead of selling it at spot prices to neighboring countries.
