And the terror supporters decide to do it close to the date of the attack that started the whole conflict.
No surprises here. Let that speak for itself: They carry the banner of support for Islamist terror with pride.
Right before they presume to give moral lessons to others….
EDIT: Just the facts, downvoters. The big consolation however is seeing the enterprise started by the terrorists this time last year fail spectacularly. I hope every person that took part in this is keenly aware of that, and if not yet, they soon will be.

I wonder how many of them know which river and which sea, and that Hamas and Hezbollah would probably want to kill all the gay protestors on sight. Many probably don’t know why the West Bank is called the West Bank, and that there are many Arabs residing in Isreal that absolutely do not want to be ruled by terrorists, and don’t want Sharia Law. Many don’t understand the history and situation, and have never been to the Middle East. Many are migrants that have escaped to the West to get away from the kind of regimes that Hamas and Hezbollah look forward to creating. They don’t know that Hamas and Hezbollah are from different branches of Islam, the latter being a proxy for the evil Iranian regime. A regime despised by its own population. They probably don’t know that Egypt has built a wall to keep the Palestinians out, and Jorden doesn’t want them either. They don’t know that the likes of Saudi don’t want another Iran on their doorstep. Many protesters don’t understand how complex the situation is, and they are calling for what would effectively be a second Holocaust,. An Oct 7th on a grand and national scale until, every Jewish person is murdered, raped, or scattered to the four winds. There’d be no peaceful coexistence within the new Islamic state. For the Israeli people, it’s an existential struggle.

Regardless of their opinions on all of this… what are they hoping to achieve?
I’m pro-protest when change is required, and protest can be healthy for a society regardless, but… let’s face facts:
The UK can do nothing to stop Iran and it’s terror campaign.
The UK can do nothing to persuade Israel to just simply give in and allow Iran to have them wiped out.
… so… what are they hoping to achieve?
If it’s just indicating to the govt that they ‘support’ hamas – again, why?
If it’s supposed to show support to the Palestinians, then they are protesting the wrong things in the erong place – supporting Palestinians requires removal of Hamas and Iranian influence. Nothing else is relevant.
… so, seriously?
Please, if you are heading to something like this, ELI5 for me.
Not trying to persuade anyone to or not to attend, just want to understand what folks think they are doing, besides providing ample propaganda material for Islamic extremists – because I’m *assuming* that isn’t the goal.

And i’m sure there are many well meaning peaceful individuals there who care about innocent Palestinians.
Just as there will be many who don’t really care about Palestine at all, like the ones who sing songs about Jews being bald in the holocaust and dressing up as paragliders.
Sadly, who you decide to rub shoulders with matters.
