      Bought it every year since 2005, done 20,000 hours on the total series since then. But this year, my computer will not whir for FM25.

      With a delay until March, they really shouldn’t bother with releasing it at all. Do a database update for FM24, charge everyone a nominal amount and just put all the focus into making FM26 workable for next November.

      There are Football Manager streamers? I can’t think of a game less designed for streaming than this.

      They screwed up here, big time.

      If they try to return to the normal November release cycle for FM26 then the game will only have a shelf life of 8 months. No way they can justify the full price tag.

      The move to Unity has been a complete disaster thus far and alarm bells were ringing when they announced the removal of features and showed zero gameplay footage.

      They’re in too deep with Unity now so need to get something working to prove to Sega that it was worth the hassle. Despite the current codebase being plagued with spaghetti code and huge tech debt, they should have just iterated on this for another year or two while they work out Unity… though this has apparently been 5 years in the making so some serious questions need to be asked of the leadership at SI given the time and money sunk into it.

      They’re insane if, at this point, they don’t skip over 25 and move straight to 26. Who the hell would buy a new FM in March when the season is close to ending?

      Back as a kid i once played this game for 18hrs straight, then realised i probably should go to bed

      I stopped playing it not because i didnt love the game, it was just its so addictive my sleep pattern was all over the place. Once went to bed at 11am after playing all night
