Good now nationalise the car parking! /s
I already thought this was law?
I remember in Junior Cert business having to learn the maximum amount of coins that had to be accepted in a business transaction.
Something like 20p in pennies, 40p in tuppence pieces, £2 pound in 10p coins, etc., etc.. Basically if you tried to pay in all coins, the retailer can’t refuse you up to a certain amount.
This is a good thing.
Just because some crazies also agree with it doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing.
Theres plenty of reasons accepting cash should be mandatory across the board.
That will go down well with the people who don’t pay their fair share of taxes.
(Let’s never mind my comment!)
I prefer to pay with gems and gold ingots. So I don’t know, if this rule will help me.
This makes sense, they’re the government, not some sort of burrito or donut shop.
