      Wtf, how/why is this moving so slow? I might be badly out of the loop but this is the first I’m hearing of this.

      Very surprised this has only been heard about now. He went missing in August. Why was it not national news then?

      Very sad situation. Can’t imagine how the parents are feeling. Sending my thoughts to them all.

      >Dayla Durnin (24) and her son Kyran Durnin have been reported missing from their home in Drogheda, since Friday last, August 30. They were last seen on Wednesday, August 28 at approximately 11 p.m.

      From the RTE article, the missing persons alert for Dayla Durnin is now stood down as of this morning.

      >Gardaí had also issued a missing persons appeal for Kyran’s mother, Dayla Durnin, on 4 September but this morning they stood down that appeal and thanked the public and the media for their assistance.

      Looks like Tusla were already involved with the family, whatever happened, this is tragic, poor little fella 😢

      This was all over local news in Drogheda but it didn’t really make it to national news. That poor child.

      Has it been specified whether the mother was found alive or dead? She has 2 other children she didn’t disappear with. Clearly more to this than ia being reported
