    Another great example of leaving the EU so we can “take back control of our laws”, then just copying every new EU law (see also the proposed legilation about enforcing USB-C).

    Countries that do not consider training/learning to be a copyright violation will gain the advantage under such a law. Under this law we would never have Suno, Udio or any other music generator since training permission would be denied.

    AI training data should be on a strictly opt-in basis, not on an “it’s on you to request AI companies not use your information” and then require you to contact various companies directly basis.

    If nothing else, that’s a massive breach of copyright and trademarking.
