Media: L’Ucraina riceverà 4000 droni d’attacco tedeschi con intelligenza artificiale

The Artificial Intelligence is mostly for target verification and terrain navigation. Aka, if the navigation gets jammed, the drone will still be able to fly and search for the target and potentially strike it.

Without navigation it needs relative navigation which tend to drift the longer a drone is in the air. They are enough however to get in visual range of the target and based on a set of pre trained data it can identify and strike independently.

Nothing new generally, but in a more mass produced and integrated system.
