Doesn’t surprise me, most of the time it’s tools or gadgets and toys which surely appeals to more men than women.

The only thing im yet to purchase for my workshop out of the local lidl is a 15 tonne power hammer.
I think they will have it around spring.

Well if there’s a chance of getting a flamethrower of course I’m checking it out.

I went in for their thick cut brown seeded, and also managed to get an inflatable paddle board I didn’t know I needed, but it’s great.

They’ve got loads of tools, gadgets, and gardening stuff during spring and summer, so it’s not surprising.
I’m definitely the one bringing random things home more often than my wife.

I once impulse bought a welding mask with a digital light on the front from there, just so that I could look like Daft Punk for my kids.

My grandad lives near Lidl and whenever he goes he comes back with something odd. Last time he bought a neon yellow jacket.

Browsing the Lidl middle aisles is one of life simple joys. Asking yourself questions like ‘do I need a waffles maker’ or ‘can I live without a chemical spill suit’ or all part of life’s rich tapestry. Brothers, let us never take the wonder it bestows for granted, let us rise up, like our hearts do when we see a pneumatic corded drill with 15 piece set for £12.99 and say, thank you Lidl, thank you.
Lidl/Aldi, the only place where you can buy both baked beans and a chainsaw

Im not surprised, plasma cutters are essential tools for cutting loaves.

Totally, there’s always some gadget, tool, BBQ accessory or other item that lures you in.
I always fall for the food / drink specials as well, I really need this pack of weird biscuits / crisps.

That’s what Lidl is for – good, cheap booze & the middle aisle of chaos

Lidl is dangerous you go in for a few basics and come back out with a new chainsaw and a ratchet set.

I literally go to lidl.based on what they have at the middle isle.

Gonna go check the lidl website now to see what’s on.

Not surprising. Those sheds and odds and end drawers need filling with something.

I guess I’m a woman now because I’ve never paid attention to the middle aisle.

Explains why they stock more tools than my local B&Q!
Since the pandemic I’ve always shopped first thing in the morning to avoid crowds and get the freshly stocked items, and anecdotally I always see a few of the jobbing builder types in there to pick up their breakfast croissants, two cans of energy drink, and a belt sander…
