What a fine bunch they make. You can be judged by the friends you keep.

Providing shelter or protection to a war criminal can be considered a criminal act under international law and the laws of many countries. The specific legal implications depend on the context and the jurisdiction involved. Here are key aspects:

    International Law
    Geneva Conventions:

States are obligated to prosecute individuals accused of grave breaches of the Geneva Conventions or to extradite them for prosecution. Providing shelter could be seen as obstructing justice or aiding and abetting their evasion of prosecution.
    International Criminal Court (ICC):

If the individual is wanted by the ICC, nations that are party to the Rome Statute have a legal obligation to cooperate with the court, which includes arresting and surrendering individuals accused of war crimes. Providing shelter could violate this obligation.
    National Laws
    Aiding and Abetting:

In many countries, providing shelter to someone known to have committed war crimes can constitute aiding and abetting, which is itself a criminal offense.
    Obstruction of Justice:

Harboring a fugitive from justice, especially someone accused of serious crimes like war crimes, can amount to obstruction of justice in many legal systems.
    Extradition Treaties:

If the war criminal is wanted in another country, providing shelter could violate extradition agreements and lead to legal consequences for those offering protection.
    Exceptions
If the person providing shelter is unaware of the individual’s criminal status, their actions may not be considered criminal unless proven otherwise.
Humanitarian protection, such as granting asylum, might be permissible under certain conditions, but this generally does not apply to individuals accused of war crimes or crimes against humanity, as they are often excluded from asylum protections.

    So i say, do it.

Orban to recieve some poor palestinian’s house and israeli visa as a gift.

After all, he will be investigated for great many crimes when he no longer has imunity.

Same reason why he felates Putin.

What a strange mixture of principles we’ve all come to – some people support russia and israel, others support ukraine and israel, you have people supporting gaza and ukraine and others supporting russia and gaza 😆

  6. Or they can just leave the icc? In fact they can go ahead and leave all those international organizations since the only thing they do is disagree with everyone on every opportunity they get like some teenager trying to show how different he is.

At some point, we have to realize that this whole trolling, conflict, and hate-mongering is entirely intentional. This is what keeps him alive. Every reaction and criticism he receives generates popularity in the opposing camp. Just look at what happened with Trump.

Vowing to disrespect the law is a wild move for the ones that make laws.

Any reason that the ICC only put out an arrest warrant for a dead Hamas Palestinian? Was this because the request for the arrest warrant against Israelis was made by Hamas Palestine?

  11. Why is Hungary even still in the EU? It violates pretty much every principle of the union.

Nobody was expecting this prick to do the right thing.

Him, Netanyahu, Trump and Putin and like 4 peas in a pod

Can we kick Hungary out of the EU already? What are we waiting for?

  14. pantrokator-bezsens on

Fine, but if I were Hungary I wouldn’t hold my breath when they will require some hel from ICC. Unless it will be to prosecute Orban that is.

Country which has been repeatedly sanctioned for violations of rule of law is, surprisingly, violating rule of law. More at 11.
