    I will believe it when I see it. The CEO put a number of caveats in his response to prices coming down.

    Holy cow, I really hope that’s true. The insane prices have really taken a toll on italian families.

    consumers have power. it’s just not organized.

  5. It rained this year in Spain after 3 years of drough, so it’s expected that the harvest will be normal. It’s now harvesting season, and prices are already going down. I’ve seen it at 6.5€/liter lately, which is 2-3€ lower than a few months ago.

    Yeah. Right up until some CEO or share holder decides they like the new levels of profits and just leaves the pricing height, regardless of production costs

    Finally some good news…but as an American, I’m certain there’s a plan to redirect the difference anywhere than the shelf price…
