I rather enjoyed what Rod Liddle said about the Greens during the election: The marriage of Hamas and Stonewall. Apt when news like this comes out

The left, and islamic extremism are strange bedfellows. Is it just because they’re seen as anti- Western, and anti-capitalism? Did they not read the scorpion and the frog?

It’ll be a tragicomedy of epic proportions if environment net zero politics is undermined because those who care about these issues can’t agree and start infighting over Middle Eastern politics.

Regardless of Israel’s subsequent conduct, what was October 7th if not an act of terrorism?

I recall watching a video by Roger Hallam of all people about the problem of entryism. People come into your movement and want your movement to be about their movement.

It’s ridiculous how many headlines use correlation to imply causation. “A thing happened to a person who did / said this” and “A thing happened to a person BECAUSE they did/ said this” are not the same. I could write a headline that said “Police arrest ice cream man who gave free ice lollies to children” which might be both a completely true statement and entirely fail to mention that he shot someone.
In this case, the article is a summary of this man’s social media activity and a report of his account of why he was kicked out, and contains no analysis that informs the reader about what actually happened.

“We care about the environment, bit not the rape, torture and kidnapping of isrealis”
That’s an odd selling point for a political party.

Because he called them that, or something completely unrelated?
No, I haven’t read the article in the link, probably not the worst source but they all now seem to just put utter shite click bait headlines so I hope their business models die very soon.

reads to me like he tweeted the Greens support Hamas and got booted for that.

Very unsurprising. A far left party feigning interest in the environment.

The Scottish Greens once again proving themselves to be utter clowns.

Aye I gave them the benefit of the doubt in the last Scottish Election and gave them my “list” vote as they had some sensible proposals.
Instantly regretted it when they put the kibosh on the A96 dualling upgrade works. Then they just got progressively more and more mental.
I’ll be surprised if they pick up a single seat in the next election up here, they were an unmitigated disaster in coalition with the SNP.

…But that’s their legal status in the UK.
Greens I really want to vote for you. Please develop some goddamn common sense.
