It’s not as if the people of Louth needed a reminder of the contempt FG has for them, but it’s nice of them to provide one anyway.

Well if you don’t think McGahon is a good man…

Leaflet in my door a few hours ago, it’ll help light the fire later.

John McGahon is going to personally track down and beat the shite out of everyone who voted against him in that poll.

“Asked who performed best on the ten leader debate, almost a quarter (24pc) of voters picked Mr Tóibín. The Aontú leader was followed by Tánaiste Micheál Martin (22pc), Taoiseach Simon Harris (20pc) and Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald (19pc),

One in ten (10pc) choose People Before Profit leader Richard Boyd Barrett and 2pc said Ivana Bacik. Independent Ireland’s Michael Collins, Social Democrats Cian O’Callaghan and Green Party’s Roderic O’Gorman were all on 1pc. While Right to Change TD Joan Collins was on less than one percent.”

    – bar Toibín, I’d be interested to see how these figures compare to party support, which will presumably be released later
    – eg with all Harris’ recent faux pas, I’d say FF are now on course to get biggest share of 1st prefs
    – also not looking great for Labour or SDs

should not be but the majority are compelled to vote for him due to inertia

  7. That’s fine leave him on the ballot. One less fffg candidate to get elected.

A majority are looking for a box – anonymous Fine Gael rep (probably)
