    That should have been fairly obvious, this the biggest genocide in Europe’s history was perpetrated by a communist state and news of it was widely supressed by communist sympathisers in the West, never let those modern day apologists forget that.

    I saw a map recently that shows Greece doesn’t recognize the genocide. I found that weird given their own history vs Turkey and that they are quite close to Ukraine and their history. I wonder why.

    Tl;dr from local news sources: The Holodomor event was sponsored by the city authorities of Mandra in western Attica. A counterdemonstration was organized by the CP. The police showed up with teargas. Everybody got some.

    The Greek CP is a Stalinist relic that, on the topic of Ukraine, has been parroting Russian propaganda since day one.
