    Nobody comments as nothing to say really… The sanctions are so toothless, even N.Korea has access to stuff – not talking about russia which has been sanctioned much later and for much shorter time…

  2. I’ve seen a list of at least some of the components, but has anyone identified any that are actually restricted, and supposedly difficult to buy? The first item I saw mentioned on a news article is readily available on eBay, so hardly difficult to obtain.

  3. People should stop making these posts.

    There’s no chip manufacturers in either north or south pole, Oceania, Africa or South America.

    The components are ALWAYS going to be ‘western’ in origin.

    Stop being surprised by this.

    It’s a global market. All the components used can be bought virtually everywhere.

  4. What would be more interesting is to find serial numbers and check:

    * When were they made
    * Who is the manufacturer
    * Where were they sold to and in what products were they intended to be used

    The West is complicit in the genocide of Ukrainians. They prevent us from defending ourselves adequately and at the same time provide supplies to Ruzzia and its allies.

    [These pages](https://war-sanctions.gur.gov.ua/components?f%255Bcountry_id%255D=&f%255Bmanufacturer_id%255D=&f%255Btitle_uk%255D=wgroup-280&i%255Bmarking%255D=&f%255Bsearch%255D=&page=1&per-page=12) are a detailed inventory of the parts identified. Some are current parts, some are obsolete parts, many are available from a variety of sources (including some via Aliexpress).

    How they leaked into Iran and DPRK would be a fascinating rabbit hole to chase down, and likely to uncover a few weasels.
