    Fuck off with that idea. Use the already abandoned housing estates around the country. Leave rural England alone. It’ll just get turned into a sea of coffee shops, hipster bars, student housing, charity shops and other useless shite anyway. Utilise the existing space we’ve already built on and abandoned, you know, “save the planet” and all the other stuff the government and companies keep saying but then… Never do.

    Even on the end of the central line in London there are tube stations surrounded by fields because the green belt was set in stone 70 years ago and no one dares change it.

    It makes no sense that we build huge new housing estates with sometimes not even a bus connection, but have railway stations surrounded by nothing.
